The author and his father are lovers of country music. Edward’s oldest daughter, on the other hand, is the biggest fan. Hence, it was always the dream of Edward’s father that his granddaughter would become a Country Music Star. The book is the real-life story of Edward C. Freeman and his family’s struggle to make it into country music’s capital of the world, Nashville Tennessee.
I was seriously tired of reading autobiographies about people that we already knew about. I’m glad someone like Edward exists to inspire us with a story never heard about before.
It is keeping in mind the black people and the unfair treatment worldwide. This book needs to be a best seller. Just so this reaches out and breaks all barriers in every walk of life.
